Wollongong will again play host to a world title boxing event when German-Alesia 'The Tigress’ Graf who now calls Wollongong home takes on Thailand's Jubjang Lookmakarmwan (who usually fights in Muay Thai) for the vacant World Boxing Union (WBU) super bantamweight title at the Fraternity Club on Wednesday night-21st December, 2011.
Graf's trainer and promoter-Lee Murray said, "Fitness is the key - we've been trying to make her the fittest female boxer in the world."
"She's been out of the ring for a year so she's looking forward to it." Both fighters came in under the 55.3kg (122lbs) weight limit at yesterdays weigh in.
Tickets for the fight night are available at the Fraternity Club, UOW Sports Hub or by phoning 0422431303. Prices range from $30 to $60 and corporate tickets are $150.
